Age of Conan

Ah as a true gamer I hopped on the band wagon that is Age of Conan. Here are two screenies from the game (low res and small). I really like it.

The "Valley of Connal" (I think). The valley itself is a forest with lots of evil invaders and angry wolves. What is hard to see is that straight ahead of my character on the other side of the valley there is a waterfall. I could actually see the water moving from that distance. Excellent! I eventually helped vanquish several commanders of the invading forces and their allies.

This pic is from the "Valley of Zelata", the area I'm currently in. From what I can make out it is ruled by a sorceress who somehow controls the wildlife there. I'm supposed to meet with her but I haven't bothered making the trip yet. As usual in the Conan universe, conflicts are everywhere. In this zone dark creations of Nemedian sorcerers have appeared and are spreading terror throughout the are. I'm sure the source can be found in the fortress beside the vulcano, but alas I have no real evidence.

Okay, enough gaming. Right now I'm sitting on the edge of my seat because I really feel like drinking alot of coffee but I have no filters. I have one last chance, and that is going down to my local pizzeria and ask if they have any. Which is kinda funny. Other news include that I'm going to the Blizzard Entertainment World Wide Invitational, mostly to check out Starcraft 2 (crap gaming again) but also watch some of the tournaments. We're gonna be staying just about a week so hopefully there'll be some pics of Versailles up here. But maybe I'm getting ahead of myself. :-P
