Here we go again

I guess I'll try this blogging thing again. Third time or something? Let's see what I make of it.

The title of the blog is apparently some philosophical/existentialist notion but I first came into contact with it in a Stargate SG-1 episode (quoting "Fake" Teal'c):
"Sci-Fi is an existential metaphor that allows us to tell stories about the human condition. Isaac Asimov once said, 'Individual science fiction stories may seem as trivial as ever to the blinded critics and philosophers of today. But the core of science fiction its essence has become crucial to our salvation if we are to be saved at all.'"

I kinda like that quote. And I like Sci-fi, so it seemed like a nice title for the blog. Ironic thing is I haven't read any Asimov besides "Nightfall" and "The Last Question", perhaps only the earlier touched upon the human condition. Maybe I should read some more, any tips?

Oh well, time to get the laundry. And then go to bed. Meeting tomorrow morning. Crap. Hopefully won't oversleep. Lots to do, probably long day tomorrow. The whole team is behind schedule and my project manager seems to get a bit more distressed every day though he doesn't show it. As I said. Crappy.
